Raised in Norfolk, Nebraska, Aaron Holmberg was introduced to the joys of creating things with his hands and mind by his mechanical engineering father. The local high school further fostered and developed his interests through various shop classes. His fascination with the tools at a local job shop led him to persistently seek employment there, starting by pushing a broom even before he could obtain a driver’s license. Working his way up from a broom pusher to a CNC machinist and welder, he gained an in-depth knowledge of low to medium volume manufacturing before advancing to college.
Aaron Holmberg has a distinguished track record of transforming ideas into reality. His early years were spent working in a machine and fabrication shop, laying the groundwork for a career that spans various industries, including R&D, pharmaceutical manufacturing, oil and gas completions, green technology, and hand tools. With formal education as a Machinist (Associates), Mechanical Engineer (Bachelors), and in Engineering Mechanics (Masters), Aaron is uniquely qualified to design, analyze, build, test, and take products into production. His creativity and comprehensive understanding of the US patent system have enabled him to generate intellectual property for clients, employers, and himself across a multitude of fields, with over 15 inventions patented.
Through his company, Inspired Ingenuity LLC, Aaron offers a range of services including design, prototyping, sourcing, manufacturing, and provisional patent writing, leveraging his vast experience to bring innovative solutions to the market.
Aaron is an integral member of the Scale Up Tools LLC team, primarily due to his exceptional capability in conducting stress analysis, enhancing designs by integrating components, and generating final manufacturing prints. His extensive knowledge of materials contributes to the continuous improvement of every design, showcasing his ability to optimize functionality and efficiency. Aaron’s multifaceted skill set ensures that at Scale Up Tools LLC, innovation is not just envisioned but meticulously executed and brought to fruition.
